The CGX series guitars are acoustic/electric instruments that offer the added flexibility that amplification can provide. The CGX171CCA utilizes a two-way pickup system consisting of a B-Band PickupT mounted underneath the saddle and a condenser mic mounted inside the body on the end of a flexible gooseneck for full, mature acoustic tone. Designed with Flamenco players in mind, the CGX171SCF combines a cypress back and sides with a solid spruce top to produce a light tone that is bright with a short sustain. It uses the same two-way pickup system as found in the CGX171CCA.
